I have been viewing houses in the last few months in the commuter towns of Dublin and the general feedback i have been getting feedback from estate agents when asking if there had any bids on the various properties etc the bids were nearly always roughly 10% - 15% lower than asking price. Is this normal practice. And in one instance a not to be named E.A adds this 10%-15% to the asking price?
Anyone similar experiences?
Similarly 3 estate agents valued a property in kildare ; 2 were within 5-10k the 3rd was 60-70k over the first two? was this always the case when valuing properties?
