House Insurance Claim

Does house insurance work like car insurance i.e. if you make a house insurance claim will your policy be loaded next time it's due?

policies are not 'loaded' as such, unless for a specific reason that must be advised to policyholder.

Some insures have a no claims bonus system in place for house insurance, others do not.

house insurance is not compulsory, so terms and conditions may be imposed, depending on the circumstances of the claim or the frequency of claims made under the policy.
