house alarm how much?

I got a quote of 700 euros for a four bedroomed semi-detached house. Is this an excessive amount?

A friend of mine got an alarm recently in a 2 bed semi and it was 600. I can only compare to that. Hope that helps!

Depends on what you are getting. Are you getting beams or has each window and exit door got sensors on them? You can't compare without knowing this

the equipment if hkc or aritech probably costs 3-400 so 700 installed is quite fair

HKC in a four bed house, there are 8 PIRs, keypad and internal and external alarm.
Wiring was done, cost us 800 euro, also includes dialer.

I paid 490 for 3 bed house pre-wired (but was four years ago) can pm you the guy's number - very good and did a few other electric jobs for me for no charge whilst there
