Hotels Near Twickenham

Would anyone know what part of London Twickenham is in, I'm looking for a decent hotel near enough to the Rugby Stadium. Thanks

Look around the Richmond area of London. This is about a 10 minute walk from the ground and is a very nice place too.

Just so you know, Twickenham is fairly far out from central London (tube does not go out that far) and will probably take you 30 minutes on a train to get there.

yep, Richmond is your best bet - had a cracking day there on saturday just gone! 25 mins from london from Charing Cross station, very easy to get to

As mentioned Twickehnham isn't the most promising location for Hotels at all ... Richmond would be the best bet and a nice part of town also !

If you're stuck for somewhere to stay you could consider the hotels near Heathrow ... there's loads of them there and it's not far at all (though Richmond would be a far better option as it's a nice place whereas the Heathrow perimeter road isn't!)

I always use www.hotels.co.uk when travelling over there. Usually good range of hotels - price and location.
