Hotels in Sharm El Sheikh

I am off to Egypt in May, with a friend, spending the first week on an Exodus tour around Cairo, Luxor etc and the second week in Sharm El Sheikh. There seems to be a great selection of hotels at such a diverse price range.

Has anybody any good recommendations for hotels but not at an overly expensive price? (we don't mind splashing out a bit extra for a better place)
