Hotels in Seville ?

Has anyone got any suggestions for hotels in Seville ? We are looking at doing a long weekend there in May, and from what I have found out so far there are quite a number of hotels on the outskirts or the town and a good few in the centre too, but it seems to be quite hard to distinguish exactly where the centre is from some of the descriptions.

Has anyone who has been there any suggestions for downtown hotels in Seville ?

I've only spent a few hours there while flying in/out of Seville, but it looks lovely, and April/May is the ideal time of year.

Have you had a butchers on ? (157 hotels ranked by popularity...)
 
Stayed in the Hotel Becquer about a year and a half ago and found it faultless. Very clean and in a great spot as the street it is located on has plenty of restaurants and it is a short stroll to most of the sights. IIRC I got a good deal on hotels.com
 
DrM - I had a look at tripadvisor alright and funny enough the #1 ranked place seems to be both central and good value so it is/was top of my list. I had also seen Hotel Becquer (thanks tallpaul) and that was also on my shortlist. I will investigate further.
