Hotels in Milan

Enterprise hotel. A little far out but beside the tram to centre about 15 min ride. Rooms a little small but very nice, very modern. Seemed to be a businessmans hotel. Google it. Not too many there August 2005, but then everyone in Milan was on hols at that time and I mean everyone. 80% shops shut at that time. Nice city though.

I haven't been to Milan but we were on holidays in Italy this year and used http://www.venere.com (www.venere.com) for most of our accommodation. Check for reviews before you book.

Hotel Dei Cavalieri - stayed there last year, its very near the Duomo, very safe area, beautiful hotel. Can be very pricey but I got a great rate on www.hotelscomparison.com, think we paid 45 euro each per night. Its quite a posh hotel (champagne breakfasts!!) but fabulous location.
Milan itself is lovely, not as expensive as I feared (then again, nowhere is expensive compared to Ireland now!), people are quite friendly and the food and shopping is excellent. Enjoy!
