Hope to bring Mrs Dude to London for some well earned relaxation.
Just wondering if any of you could recommend a resonably priced hotel in central London?
 
Stayed at the Kensington Palace Hotel (about 10 mins walk from Harrods) in June - paid 64 pounds sterling for a double room including breakfast - booked thru londontown.com.

Hotel was fine - good value for money!
 
DON'T stay at the Regent Place in Oxford st, we paid £130 for a double room with ensuite, and our ensuite was infact a port-a-loo, (No Really!!) which was placed in front of the window, blocking the light!

Very funny trying to use the toilet, had erm "prepare" yourself in the room and back in to a sitting position and close the door once in place! very funny, thank God this was not our first romantic get away!!!!
He had to take aim from outside the loo or crouch down while inside!!!
 
LOL. Even the writers of Fawlty Towers couldn't come up with that one!:D
