Hi,
I am planning on going to Bath in October and hoping for a hotel recommendation which is close enough to the city centre. I've never been to Bath before so I have no idea of the city - one of our group has mobility issues.

I know it well and steep hills would be a problem but you could avail of tourist hop on off bus. I would rec the Apex hotel in centre. You would be on the level for nearly Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. It is the newest addition. Bath hotel prices can be on a par with London. There are a couple of Travelodge places further out but getting a bit tired from what I hear and not handy for walking to sights.
