Going to Berlin in two weeks.. I was told Potsdam is the place to stay.. Any recommendations? Also, whats a good tour of Berlin.. Day and night.. I hear the nightlife is amazing...

Jack - check whether the person who told you was talking about Potsdamer Platz (in central Berlin) or Potsdam (a city 30 minutes away from Berlin by train). Two different things.
I haven't been to Potsdam, but I would have thought that Berlin itself was likely to have a better night life than Potsdam. I could be wrong . . .
