Could do with some help have a friend coming in from New York spending one night in dublin would like recomendations on hotels near the temple bar area that don't cost a fortune with parking facilities.

Dont stay in The Clarence. Totally over rated and parking a small fortune on top of the fortune you pay for the room.
 
Have you had a look at tripadvisor website? It shodul be able to give you some recomendations.

My father stayed at the Bloom hotel in Temple Bar for business adn he found it alright but I'm not sure about parking.

Blooms is fine for one night, there is a 24 hour car park at the bottom of the hill just next to the Thunder Road Cafe.
 
Temple Bar Hotel - 24 hour parking in carpark across street. Westin is also an option, but expensive.
 
Morgan had no availability so booked in to blooms hotel 89euro a room includung beakfast seems pretty good for Dublin and parking just down the street.Thanks everyone.
