Any recommendations for nice hotel near croke park...........going to Westlife next June with daughter age 10 and would like to stay over somewhere nice but near the venue?

The Regency have but its for two nights.

There is a list of hotels here which are near Croke Park which may be of help.

Yes - 349 just for the 1 night........the gresham is E550.00 for the 1 night......can't believe the prices.........
 
Hey Sooty - can't believe Jury's Croke Park is that amount for one night - hope it's not just because of Westlife!! Is that the bank holiday weekend too?

Lots of places listed on centralr that are much cheaper than that.

Try Jury's on Custom House Quay or Parnell St - not too far from Croker and might be cheaper!
You might also try Cassidy's Hotel on Cavendish Row (top of O Connell St).
 
there is a news days inn or comfort inn on dorset street. where the old wax works museam was. also jusys on parnell sq is only 15min walk to croker.
 
Yes - it is the Bank Holiday weekend......just thinking, will the city centre be mental that night?.....am wondering now if we should just come home after Westlife concert instead?......If the concert starts at 5, roughly what time would it be over at?

Shane Ward is support act and not sure who else. I would expect Westlife to be on about 8/8.30 and play for a couple of hours - as far as I know concerts in Croke Park usually have to be finished by 10/ 10.30.
