Hotel mews self catering around New Year?

We're hoping to go away for a few days around New Year. We've stayed at Faithlegg Mews before and it was excellent - self catering accommodation but also the facilites of the hotel, leisure centre, babysitters available. Quoting €750 for a three night break over new year - well over budget. Can anyone suggest something similar - self catering accommodation but beside either a hotel or right in a village so we don't have to drive but would have everything right there - including babysitters??? Travelling from Dublin with young children so 2 hour drive probably max.

how about Johnstown house, they have apartments dont know the costing tho, or how about Cabra Castle
