Hotel in Mestre (Venice mainland)

I need a clean, cheapish hotel in Mestre for one night in September. Near to the train station for a quick getaway the following day would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi Europhile. If you check out www.laterooms.com there is a 2** hotel 900m from the station that is cheap enough The Antica Graziella..otherwise there are plenty of others listed on that site.

I got this place from venere for EU95 for a double with breakfast. It's suspiciously cheap. It looks a bit OTT but sure we'll find out.

Hi Europhile can you tell me how this hotel worked out. I cant make up my mind whether to say in mestre or venice. It is just that the flight is only arriving in Treviso at 8.40 so it would be late arriving and trying to find a hotel in venice can be a bit complicated from what I read in trip advisor so am thinkingof just getting to mestre and using it as a 2 night base for visiting venice
