Going to Paris over Easter for a few days. We are family of 4, 2 adults, 2 child (7 & 11 years). Can anybody recommend a hotel with family room or alternative that is not too expensive.

Thanks

We've stayed at Hotel Langlois near L'Opera on numerous occasions. The Check out http://www.hotel-langlois.com/ and reviews on
My notes pasted from an e-mail............

We stayed in suite 42 on the 4th Floor - 42 (two adjoining rooms). Very good hotel with breakfast, which is handy for kids. The Louvre (20mins), Musee D'Orsay (3 mins) and Left Bank are all walkable if in the mood. The main shops (Printemps, Galleries Lafayette, GAP) are literally two blocks away. The nearby Bistro des Deux Theatres, just around the corner at the side of Trinite Church is good without the kids in the evening!

There is a good pattisserie on the same street for stashing up with lunchtime rolls and pastries.

The Trinite Metro stop is 200m away. One suggestion, if travelling from CDG Airport. Take the train from CDG to Gare De Nord and the metro from Magenta (next to Gare De Nord) to Gare St Lazare, from where you can take the 10min walk to the hotel.

Plenty of suggestions were given to me on the thread below recently. However the prices were coming in terribly expensive for any family rooms that I enquired about and we decided to head southwards instead. Got a house in S/W france with pool for a week for less than cost of hotel in Paris for five days.

We stayed in hotel Ibis in Paris (street next to Eifel Tower). There were 2 x adults and 2 x teenagers 15 & 18yrs. Room had 2 x double beds and was close to metro. Wasn't expensive.
