Hotel at Heathrow

Can anyone recommend an easily accessible hotel at Heathrow? I know the Hilton is walking distance from T4 but are there any other hotels walkable, especially from T1? Jurys is somewhere on the grounds but you seem to have to get a shuttle bus which is £4 per person and seems to just go every hour which is a bit of a pain if we just miss one. Thanks.

Jurys Inn is also a few mins walk from Hatton Cross Tube station, one Tube stop away from the terminals. Cheap and cheerful when I stayed there overnight. Tube is a lot more frequent than the £4 Hoppa bus (though IIRC there also free local buses from Heathrow bus terminal to Hatton Cross bus station.).

Yes local buses in the LHR immediate area (includes perimeter roads, Bath Road (where most of the hotels are) and Hatton X Tube Station (which as Mugs Game observes is very close to Jurys Inn).

The Hotel Hoppa shuttle bus is a rip off

There are no hotels within walking distance of the central terminals (T123) ... T4 Has the Hilton and T5 has a Sofitel, both are connected to the terminal.

Stayed at the Sheraton a couple of years ago, on the road where there are several hotels adjoining one of the runways.

It was cheap, nice, quiet (more or less), and easy enough to get to any of the terminals by taxi or bus.

Comfort Inn is close by but you need the Hoppa. It's not a fab hotel by any means, but cheap and does the 1 night job!

stayed in the marriot on bath road last year ot it or less than 50 pounds with a priceline bid -free buses run there and are ver easy to negotiate or the hoppa if you need some handholding.

bus 105, 140 and 285 from the central bus station at Heathrow. Ring the bell when you pass the Sheraton Skyline on your left, the Marriott is the next hotel.

also if you look at the top of that page theres a link to a guide that tells you all about the bus services around the airport. Theres a free service that takes in the marriott called the freeflow zone.

The Holiday Inn Heathrow, Sipson Way, corner of Bath road, not to be confused with two other Holiday Inns. This is the first hotel you meet on the bath road as you leave the airport. This is a nice hotel with nice people. There is a 140 bus which you can get from Terminal 1 which is free to the stop outside the hotel ( request stop, so ring the bell ) We stopped there very recently so can recommend the hotel. The entrance to the hotel is at the back ie: Sipson Way.
