Hostivar Lake region of Prague

Hi all,

Have come across a great potential for the Hostivar Lake region of Prague but am not sure about the area. Have been to Prague before and really likes it as a city!

Does anyone have experience of investing in Prague? What are the rental returns like? The develpment I am looking at has a supermarket, shops, restaurants, health club, kiddies playground, BBQ area, creche etc...

The development is very close to the main business area of Prague which is built along the D1 highway ensuring huge demand for rented accommodation. Accessibility to the centre is directly by tram or from the nearby metro station.

If anyone has experience of buying/letting in Prague or better still, knowledge of the Hostivar lake regions of Prague, I would be delighted to hear your experience.

Hostivar is in Prague4. I am working currently in Chodov (not far from Hostivar). I just pass by there two times but what I can tell you.
There is an important IT center with many big companies settling up in Chodov. DHL, Dell, Accenture, Sun, Sony ...
Give me the exact address in Hostivar where did you buy your property.
There is a big shopping mall in depo hostivar, and tram lineas 22 and 23 they also go there. I think there is also direct bus connections to the Chodov Park
All this is area is surrounded by Panelaks houses (typical communism construction) so the landscape it is not nice. I think that in 20-25 minutes you are in the center.
Is Orco the ones building the apartment you are interested in ??
