I wonder why we still have a hose pipe ban after all the recent rain. Are the reservoirs back to normal yet?

We've had showers throughout the day / week kinda thing, but the garden is still dry... I laid a new lawn earlier in the year and although it's just a "postage stamp size", watering with a water can is a pain in the ... just not enough rainfall to keep the grass going.

I wonder if we're getting more rain here in Dublin 3, even the laissez faire grass on the Clontarf promenade has returned to green.
