Hooking up video to record digital channels (NTL)

I used to have the TV, video and NTL digital box hooked up in a way that let me record digital channels but then everything was unplugged when we were having the room decorated recently and I can't remember how to do it again! (ie what scart cable goes where, etc). There used to be a diagram on the NTL site but I can't find it now. Help?! Thanks.

A quick guide is to
1 put the scart from the digi box to the video
2 put the second scart from the video to the tv
3 put the third scart from the dvd player direct to the tv

Does this work for recording with a SKY TV box too?
