honeymoon ideas for people who have not travelled

A friend has asked me for advice on a honeymoon. It will be the first 2 weeks of august. They have not travelled much they have been to usa once to visit relatives. They have never been on a sun holiday and do not want some where too hot. They would be into a bit of walking and a place with a bit of swimming and some pub life so I want to know any ideas not a place that is too hot with a bit of luxury. All ideas welcome

How about a cruise ?

a cruise around parts of the Italian coast might be nice... get to see some nice sights.

Provence in South of France, lots of lovely old villages and very pretty countryside.
