Homebond guarantee check

Is there any way to check if a housing estate/house is guaranteed by Homebond? Don't know builders name. Thanks

If you are already and owner then the HomeBond certificate should be included with your mortgage deeds/legal documentation. If you are a prospective buyer then the vendor should have this document if the house is covered. Bear in mind that HomeBond only covers serious structural defects in the property in the first 10 years after construction and, as far as I know, it's very difficult to claim on it.
