I have a quick questions for anyone who has ordered furniture from HomeBase. I ordered a desk and leather chair for our home office on the 01.01.07 and was told that delivery will take up to 28 day as it was not in stock. We said fair enough as this is the norn nowdays.
Received a letter at the end of Jan to inform us that delivery won't be till the 22nd of Feb. So we waited. I rang them late on Friday afternoon to see if they had received the desk and chair into stock. Was told no and that another letter was on the way as it was now going to be mid March. Told the lady I needed a desk asap what did she have in stock in their warehouse-her reply- not one desk!
I'm sure I'm going to end up cancelling this order and purchasing somewhere else but has anyone ever had a desk delivered by HomeBase and if so, how long did it take?
