Is there a website /someone you can get to advise on what kind of home improvements are worth doing to a particular type of property in a particular type of location?
For example: I live in an apartment, in West Dublin. I don’t plan on spending the rest of my life in it but will probably stay for another few years at least. I didn’t buy it new and there are a few things I’d like to change. I’d love to know how much is too much to spend and where your money is best spent to add value.
If the bathroom is basic with nothing intrinsically wrong with it would you lose money if you did it all up? There’s minimal tiling - I’d like to redo it all etc.
Patio: how much is worth spending (I have a decent sized back garden) especially considering I have 5 wavin pipe mini-drain covers in the cement outside the patio doors?
