Home button on IPhone sticking

I have an IPhone 4 out of warrenty, the home button is sticking. Does anybody know how much it would cost to get it repaired. Any advice would be most welcome.

I think the apple store will do a like for like replacement for £125

How long do you have the phone?

I had the same problem and Apple replaced the phone but mine was in warranty. It seems to be a fault with earlier versions of the iPhone 4. I purchased mine via Vodafone but I walked in off the street to an Apple Store and it was literally replaced immediately as the minute I mentioned the problem it was recognised as a fault.

I did what your link suggested and my phone is working perfectly again must have been dust under the button. Thanks a million saved me a few quid i reckon

same thing happened to me - i reckoned it was overuse , a friend of mine had previously replaced the screen for me and replaced the home button for me too.... and it was no where near €125...
