Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with the above agents in budapest? I am with them and so far so fairly good. The only reason Im asking therefore is that Ive read so many other threads with people who have had bad experiences with other agents that Im worried that Im too easily pleased! Maybe Im being ripped off and am too naive to realise! I dont think so,my 1 bed new build with car space is let for €550 plus and they seem very much on the ball but I would be interested in others experience good bad and ugly?
Thanks for reading.

I never heard of those guys and could not find an Internet site as well, but 1 bed + parking in 6th or 7th district that brings you 550 / month sounds like a good deal. stick with them!

Thanks for taking the time to reply!
The apt is actually over in buda in District XI,(in ibrahim ut called albatross )I know some people not crazy about the district but Ive been there twice and it seemed fine, I hope to hold onto it for the medium term and let the longterm sort its self out, that was always my plan ie review in say 7 to 1o years unless major disaster or price increase earlier.

The agents website is actually they are based in Moricz Zigmund Korter.

Hi Madagan

I use these guys. Springs Int. refer them to everybody they sell to. I have not been with them long enough to see is there any hidden fees etc..
They charge 1 month finder fee and 10% management charge. Can anyone shed any light about the 1 month finders fee. Is it normal in Budapest? It certainly eats into rent. Since Vat is also charged on top it brings total management fees including vat to 22% approx. Lets hope that there is no more hdden costs at the end of rental year.

1 month's finders fee and 10% management charge is not the most competitive available but is pretty standard for Budapest

Madangan,
Do you have any interest in the Hungarian property market we should know about?

Im fascinated why a small number of posters here do not capitalise street names in Budapest. Is this a Hungarian language thing?

Non-capitalisation of street names is not a Hungarian language thing. Seems strange to me also.

Thanks Dr.John. Thats how I came to be with them too! I did make a few enquires at the time and there fees seemed to be what the others were charging too.But there still was (and is) a leap of faith involved.I wasnt aware of this site at the time of purchase or renting mores the pity.

A query have an apartment in Albatros are you aware of any recent prblems around common costs etc.

I am concerned about this. If you have any information on this can you please reply.

Hi Tipper,

I assume you received the same somewhat intelligible translated report about this as I have. I am in the process of writing to Home and Office about this as all I really care about is what if any financial impact this has for me...

If I hear anything I will pm you
