The hollowcore was laid 2 days ago but I notice there are small gaps (1cm-2cm) between the slabs of hollowcore. How should I fill these gaps ? Should hollowcore people have filled them ?

Yeah I was surprised at how 'rough' the slabs of hollowcore are. I was advised to put in suspended metal ceilings instead of battens. not sure what they are yet though.
