Holiday Visa for USA

Hi
Irish Nationals (born in Republic of Ireland) holding Irish Passport that is in date dont need a visa for going to America on holidays or dont need to go to the American Embassy - correct?

All you need is your valid passport and your flight tickets/boarding pass - nothing else - right?
