Holiday letting contract

Have an apartment in Nice. Use it as a holiday home for family. Planning to let out occasionally to reduce costs. Any advice re letting contracts for this type of letting. Expect it to be generally weekly to tourists. Any advice on pitfalls with this idea?
 
what area did you buy in? can you give some details on the apt and how you went about buying it (not personal info)
 
One bed in Musciens. Went over, looked around, went back and bought. Can you help with my query?

I'm looking for advice re need to have contract for short term holiday lettings, advice regarding content of contract if adviced and any other advice about short term holiday letting in general.

The company in the last link (my previous employers) don't do rentals.

There are at least 150 apartments for rent in the centre of Nice, so it pays to get a good letting agent. The different in weeks per year can be huge.
