Just wondering if anyone can give us any advice on USIT travel insurance tied into J1 visa and repeat exam insurance.
My son is hoping to gain a J1 for America for approx 3 months during the summer. USIT are offering [broken link removed] at €189.00 which includes cover for return flight if he needs to repeat some of his exams in college.
He would prefer to take out the VHI yearly travel policy but this does not cover the repeat exam situation.
The return flights would appear to be very expensive but the USIT policy only allows €600 for this section of the policy and has a €75.00 excess.
Has anyone here ever bought this policy or availed of this clause in it?
