Holiday in South Of France

Hi,
Myself and Boyfriend interested in taking a 2 wk holiday in the South of France and perhaps travel into Italy too. I have heard great reports of Town such as Menton and Cassis. Would anyone have any recommendation? Also, best way to travel around and to fly into from Dublin?

Check out Villefranche-Sur-Mer. About 20 minutes from Nice. Small fishing harbour with great restaurants and easy access to towns along the coast and also to Italy. Laid back and chilled and not for those that like hectic nightlife.
