i stayed in the don pancho hotel about 3 years ago.
massive big hotel, very clean, nice staff, loads of sun beds.
its in a good location on the end of the main road between albufeira and montechoro on the albufeira end. close to the beach (although the walk is tough, the road down is called cardiac hill)...

We've stayed in Clube Praia da Oura a few times and loved it and this year we are going to go to Oura View Beach Club (previously was Montechoro Beach Club) they are both owned by the same people and right on the beach. Very clean and well maintained.
Friends stayed in Clube 99 a few weeks ago and said that they will go there again, it is at the opposite end of the strip, Montechoro Hotel own it and you have use of the facilities there as well.
