Can anyone recommend reasonable apartments for short term - 4 nights - rental in a central London location.

Hotels are rather expensive and I'm trying to do this as cheaply as I can without ending up in a kip!
 
Try by contacting Globe Apartments in St James Street, London W1. Check out their stock and locations at www.globeapt.com. I know them -- have used them and are very good. No connection with them
 
Thanks mercman. Most of them seem to have a minimum of a weeks stay. Look good though.
 
Try them for a shorter period as things aren't as they were
