Hodson Bay, Athlone / Roscommon?

Hey All,

Anyone out there in the Athlone area may be able to answer this for me. Heading to the Hodson Bay tomorrow but when trying to find it on my sat nav, it's only bringing up Hodson Bay, Roscommon.

I can't find any Hodson Bay in Roscommon so I'm wondering if it's just very close to Roscommon border and that's why the sat nav is recognising it as Roscommon rather that Athlone / Westmeath??

It's a few miles outside Athlone town but is actually in Co. Roscommon.

A large part of athlone is actually in Roscommon. The shannon is the border between roscommon and westmeath, but a fair chunk of the town is on the on the western side of the river.
