hiring staff

i am considering opening a small retail shop selling goods that a produce myself. i have been doing this from my home for a while now but i think i need to get it out to a wider market. i work full time and this was is a side venture that i do to top up the lack of wages. is there support out there for hiring staff. just 1 person is required to man the till. after work every other waking hour will be spent on this but i dont want to give up my job just yet. any advice would be great.

Beware of being ripped off by staff - If you are not going to be present yourself, you need people that you can really trust.
