Hi Folks,

I am aware of issues associated with being a landlord but if I were to buy a property, which areas could provide highest rental yield on a property worth 200K?

I am based in Lucan so would like to have it within 40-50 minutes from Lucan in order to look after it.

Thanks

Daft used to produce a couple times a year, a rental report, that gave yield by house type by area, probably based on daft asking prices.

To be honest, if you can't figure this out with basic googling, I'm not sure the business is for you.
No place for this kind of response ever really on AAM.

Same response coudl be given to many questions but thankfully isnt.

People come on here asking for help. Personally, i dont think it is a straightforward google but maybe I am wrong on that.

If you cant help or dont want to help, save it.

In general I'd actually agree with you.

Had the OP asked something like

What is your opinion on :

2 bed property in BallyGoBackwards purchase price 180k, estimated rental 12k

Or 1 bed property in BallyGoForwards, purchase price 220, estimated rental 18k

Then I would have been happy to share my knowledge & experience.

This question however is from someone who hasn't even done basic research.
