Hi

Friend of mine interested in purchasing a house in the High Street/Windmill Road area of Cork.

Does anyone know what these areas are like to live in?

I own a house on windmill road and its a very quiet street, high st is a nice place as well. Town is only 10 minute walk and douglas is close for shopping. its close to the link also and I find a very handy place to live, pm me if you need more info.
 
Nice area but does the house have parking? This could be a hassle if your friend has a car given that it is so close to town.

Thanks for your responses. My friend has a car but she is assuming there is on street parking as the properties around there do not have space for parking. Can you confirm the situation with parking? Also is there any possibility of anti social behaviour in the area?

parking can be scarce at times but you will always get a space on hight st in my opinion. no there is no real anti-social behaviour.
