Can't help you out on this one but I find that the Argos catalogue is a good place to compare specs & prices. Helps me to clarify what I actually want.
€300 sounds a lot if you're just going to stick it in the kitchen etc & listen to it while cooking dinner. Do you need a cassette player & bi-amping is probably useless in a product like this.
For a little bit more, you could probably get 'proper' HiFi separates.
Too late Sluice. Picked one up last night. It was 20euro cheaper in DID than in Argos, so I paid 269euro. I was a little surprised at that.
Anyway...it's the business. It will be taking pride of place in my bedroom for some serious listening pleasure when I'm trying to get to sleep for starters and also played very loud when I'm awake.
I don't really need a tape deck mind you. The sound quality is amazing though and I tracked down a few online reviews which all confirm it's pretty good to excellent.
