Heritage hotel this weekend

Anyone looking to get away this weekend, I had an e-mail from the Heritage in Killenard they're doing 3 nights accomodation and 1 evening meal for €190pps this weekend.

No affiliation with the hotel, I've stayed there once before and thought it was nice - not fantastic but worth €190 for 3 nights!

Where is the evening meal, in the hotel or Sol Oreins that the pub beside the hotel ( they own both )

But if you don't play golf or like the spa there is very very very little to do in the loclal area.

Stayed there on the easter holidays for 2 nights with the kids.

Got a good deal considering the week in question and really liked the hotel and would recommend for a break.

However as Ron says very little to do and 3 nights may be a bit long for me anyway - I played golf one day but theres only so long you can lounge in the pool for which is the only other thing to do.

Restaurant in the hotel is nice but Sol oriens is bog standard and was unimpressed with that.

E-mail just says
Three nights Bed & Breakfast in a deluxe guestroom, with dinner on one evening on the resort.

I think you get the choice of the hotel ot Sol oriens - go for hotel

No in that offer I dont think you get the choice of Hotel or Sol Oriens - I reckon it is the Clubhouse (Greens) or Sol Oriens.

I actually like Sol Oriens - last time I went on an overnighter Sol Oriens was full and I had to take Greens and I was not disappointed - the food was fab!


I love this Hotel - it is one of my favourites.
