Heritage centres - who do they answer to?

Does anyone know if the individual centres in different counties answer to one Goverment organisation?

Hi,
You need to be a tad more specific as there are two types of Heritage Centres:
1. National Moumnents and Parks under the management of DUCHAS the Heritage Service and the OPW. Each centre has there own local managment staff.
2. Heritage Centres: mostly constructed and funded by EU money during the 1990s. These are managed by city, town or county councils.
