Herberton, Dublin 8

I'm thinking about buying an apartment in Herberton, Dublin 8. I'm trying to get some info about the area, as a few people have mentioned it isn't the nicest neighbourhood. Comments/advice welcome!

Go there at night and have a walk around. Make sure you head towards the Dolphins Barn flats...

The area isn't as bad as it used to be, but it's still very dodgy. Loads of junkies around the place.

Like the apts. when I viewed them are you buying via council or privately.

Are you buying 2/3 bed and what price you are thinking to offer?

I will say atleast aim for 15% discount on asking price.
