Help with new Employment Contract

My new employer wants to discuss writing up a contract for me, the job is in the high end holiday industry and I will be expected to be away ( abroad ) on a regular basis. Has anyone had to negotiate a similar contract where I would hope to be offered time off in lieu of time spent away
from home or should I expect to be paid a higher salary to compensate for this ?

I dont see why you would expect to be paid extra for something that is a normal part of the job.

I think that is something that you decide. They’ll expect you to bring it up. Travel time is counted as working time
