Hi all,
Hypothetically,
An adult son estranged from parents.
Parents separated.
Particular heirloom (owned by grandfather - died), with no value, verbally promised to the son by the father.
Mother has taken it 'for safe keeping'.
Father has begun 'legal proceedings' to reclaim same from mother.
i) Does the son have any rights?
ii) Is their a public forum to discover what 'legal proceedings' are being undertaken or is entirely private?
iii) Any other suggestions?
Thanks
