Help:ID Docements lost in post opening online account

Contact An Post. When did you post them it may take a day or two longer to deliver sometimes the post is very slow. If you had passport enclosed you would want to contact the passport office to report it missing.

I thought I lost my passport once and rang the passport office to report it missing... they said thanks for calling and were about to hang up before I protested they had not requested my details!. I subsequently found the passport and continued to use it without issue.

Did you put your passport in the post? I opened all my online accounts with a photocopy of my passport.
