Help - I need to buy replacement battery for laptop

Can anyone advise me. My present, now exhausted Dell battery is, 6Cell 56Whr Primary Battery for 1300 Inspiron, but
€134.99 is more than I'm happy to pay at present. Can I buy a compatable one anywhere, at a better price. Advice would be appreciated.

I should have added that I've already done, afaik, all the usual searches, e-bay included. As I've no technical knowledge I was hoping that someone would be able to advise me as to what battery would be compatible with the Dell one, as per specifications. I don't want an explosion on my hands:D either from the laptop or me.
 
Following on from this, would anyone care to offer an opinion on whether, in their experience, OEM batteries are any better than generic non-branded batteries?
 
This site is based in Dublin and I can recommend them [broken link removed].
I have used them but am not underwise connected with them.

I've e-mailed them to see if I can arrange to pick up a battery. Very good price:D

Not worth paying a big premium for IMO. Only problem is avoiding bad clones. But a decent seller on ebay won't be selling them anyway,
 
Well I've just had a reply to my e-mail, very quick, considering that's it Saturday!!. John has told me I can collect the battery, only one stipulation - ring in advance. So far so gooooooood :)
