I know there have been other posts on this, but they key post seems to be a bit outdated now.
We're looking at purchasing a 2nd hand restoration property. It has 2 fireplaces but no actual heating.
For reasons that escape me at the moment, my husband seems to think we should go with electric, which is fine with me, but I have some questions.
1/ I am 99% sure we want a combi boiler. Do electric combi boilers exist? I've only read about gas and (I think) oil ones here.
2/ Anyone have a cost estimate for purchase and installing the boiler, 5 rads and whatever else heating installs need?
3/ This is dumb, but the guy who does the heating install can also do the heated towel rail (and extractor?) in the bathroom instead of a regular rad, right?
