Heat rash/prickly heat - cures?

Hi,

Anyone know how to cure or better again prevent the above? Going on hols next week, fairly pale and despite using a relatively high factor I seem to get it - even in the shade. I would get prickly heat without being sunburnt.
Have tried clarityn but that didnt even work for the recent good weather we had here.

Any suggestions?
