Hearth for solid fuel stove.

Hi All

I'm about to install a small multifuel stove in the kitchen using an external flu.

Problem is I need a hearth and would prefer a granite one & the standard ones are too small. I have a tiled floor. Any ideas, thoughts would be welcome.

dont see the problem, you know what you want, cut out a template of the size and shape and get round to who ever does granite.

i did one in my kitchen under the stove, if you need a photo i can send you one, i think the granite was 175 euro if i remember right.

The depth will be a factor to consider also. Cement and nice tiles would also be an option and then a wooden surround.
