I'm going to the USA in September for 9 months to study as part of my degree course in Ireland. I'm on the family VHI cover, basic plan B. I also have VHI travel insurance which given I will be there for more than 60 days is worthless. VHI's global cover gives me a quote for circa 1500 euros, my cost on the family VHI is 250 euro. Any advice?
