Health Insurance health insurance cash plan

I've been looking at health insurance cash plans on the health insurance comparison website but could see no terms and conditions so I wonder how do these plans work with a pre - existing illness? Is there a wait time or do they have to take you at all if the illness is serious?
Also I already have hospital health insurance, can you have both?

Yes, you can have both hospital health insurance and a cash plan.
The following links to the HIA website show that there is a 5 year waiting time for pre-existing illness.

You would need to confirm this 5 year waiting time with the company, as it can be reduced or waived at their discretion.
