My other half (50 yrs) wants to have health screening done. He's had blood tests, BP monitoring etc at his GP but is looking for something far more comprehensive. The reason being is that both his parents died fram cancer and he has a sister in remission from cancer. In the last 3 months another immediate relation of his has been diagnosed with a serious illness.
I know that some of the hospitals do health screening but it seens to be blood tests, ECGs etc and really what he's looking for is something a bit more comprehensive for eg PET scanning etc.
Can anyone recommend someone/some place that will give him a thorough and serious overhall?
